9 AWESOMELY BRILLIANT ORGANIZATION IDEAS FOR YOUR HOME OFFICE

WASHI TAPE IDEAS

1. YOURS CORD-IALLY, WASHI TAPE

Let's first start with under the desk, you see those tangled cords and you don't know which cord belongs to the monitor or the printer. I have just the best home organization hack that can sort this mess out for you.

As a stationery hoarder myself, I like collecting washi tapes. These are really resourceful in this case. You can cut up a piece, coil your wire, fold the washi tape into half over the wire and stick it on. With a permanent marker, you can write down if it belongs to the monitor or the music system. Sorted!

If you are looking for some washi tape ideas and don't know where to get these lovelies, check out Altenew. I strongly feel the Classic Washi Tape Bundle is the best buy for this. The bundle has opaque washi tapes with gorgeous floral patterns, watercolor brush strokes, and polka-dots.

2. JARS DO IT WITH RELISH

I am sure all of you must be enjoying your delectable coffee frappes in cute colored mason jars during the scorching summer season. Guess what, mason jars can also be used in other ways like a desktop organizer! Wondering how this is done? It's an effortless process, just tilt three mason jars horizontally, stack, and stick them together. You can store your pencils in one, your pens in the second and other stationery in the third! This is a quick organizing hack that's really simple and will get your desktop organizer ready in a jiffy!

3. BORN TO GO PEG BOARDING!

Do you struggle with remembering things, then peg boarding is just for you! Adding a pegboard to any empty wall in and around your home workspace is of great use as you can peg your little memo notes onto it.

A pegboard organizer doesn't only serve as a way to keep track of your memos but you can also call it a board of reminisced memorabilia. Moments you cherish and love can be pegged on as polaroids.

Pegboard walls can also serve as walls full of utilized systematic arrangement of stationery (by adding small metal buckets onto your pegboard) and will make your home workspace look modern and chic.

An online store where you can find a good pegboard is A Cherry On The Top. They have some really cute shaped tiny pegboards that can add a spark of creativity to your home workspace.

4. STORE IN, MESS OUT!

"I have far too much storage." - Said nobody ever! I am sure you can relate to this. No matter how much storage you have in your home workspace it never seems enough! With this organizing hack, that problem is well taken care of.

This hack is called the Art of Partitioning. If you have a drawer, you can partition it into four parts, add plastic trays or cloth organizers and store all your office supplies in it. In this manner, you can optimize your space. Using this tactic, you can store more and never run out of storage space! So all of you in favor of opting for Store In, Mess Out, start partitioning now!

5. SPICE UP YOUR STATIONERY!

For this hack, you need to step into your kitchen, look around, and find some small empty spice bottles. Now you got to recycle them.

What I mean is, after you clean them you can store small stationery like push pins, binder clips, and u-clips in these.

If you have a spice vertical rack, you can add the spice bottles to it and keep the spice rack on your work desktop. Without spending a penny, you have now organized and uncluttered your work desk of the small work toys!

Not only this, but the spice rack can also be added as an intricate decor piece to your work desk decor which will in turn make your office look contemporary and stylish.

6. WALLS THAT GO CLIP CLAP

If pegboards are a little too big for your small office workspace, A5 clipboards are definitely a quick fix! Clipboards are the boards used for writing examinations or even used by doctors. You can stick it on your wall and clip all your memos and photo memorabilia on to it. It is a cost-effective and systematic way to arrange your whim whams and keep them in order.

7. A VIBRANT FILING SYSTEM

Do you hate boring paperwork and filing? You can make it fun by investing in bright-colored files with striking patterns!

Just thinking about using the vibrant file, can make your mind concentrate on a drab task like filing papers at home.

With these brilliantly pigmented files, your experience of doing paperwork will definitely be lively and enjoyable!

If you don't know where to get these, try buying the Robins Egg Stripe 6 x 8 Binder available in a brilliant turquoise color which works as a great paperwork organizer. Another favorite of mine is the Blush Snap Binder which is available in a variety of pastel shades.

8. LOTS OF POTS

Terracotta pots work incredibly well as stationery holders. These pots are amazing desk accessory organizers and are perfect to house your pens, markers, and pencils. Using craft paper, acrylic paints, and colored twine you can customize them to match any home workspace. Adding chalkboard stickers to these pots and marking them may be a simple idea, but is a total game-changer! I highly recommend you grab your set of chalkboard labels and markers from Craftstash.

9. PLANNING IS MY THING!

Sometimes life can get a little overwhelming and a sudden task may come flying like a hard season ball to disrupt your schedule. It is hard to stay productive and organized in such a scenario, but using a planner can change this forever!

A planner that is really close to my heart is the Make it Happen - Vintage Floral Planner by Leaders in Heels.

It is so beautiful with clean aesthetics that I wake up every day and look forward to writing my to-do list in it.

Another excellent option is the Make Your Mark planner and organizer set which comes in plain black, white, and gold. It radiates with positivity and the cover makes you spin your wheels and put things into action. You can also check out some of the planner stickers and accessories available on Craftstash. These can add vivid colored accents to your planner.

Lastly, in order to focus, I would suggest adding a hint of blossoms to your home workspace. Include some hydrangeas or orchids on your work desk that can leave the air smelling good and refresh you for your day ahead!
